Coleman Camp Sale: Memorial Day Deals on Camping Gear

Oct 13, 2023Oct 13, 2023

You can save up to 30% off camping gear during Coleman's Memorial Day Sale.

Chances are, you’ve used a Coleman stove or cooler. The brand's history dates back to 1900 when W.C. Coleman invented the first portable gas-powered lantern. In the following decades, Coleman diversified its product offerings, branching into several outdoor categories. The brand began making coolers, tents, and sleeping bags and even dabbled in the snowmobile market.

Fast forward to the present day, and Coleman is still making a variety of gear for the outdoors, especially camping gear.

Coleman is hosting a Memorial Day sale May 19-29. So if you’re looking for new gear, you can save up to 30% before Memorial Day ends and the unofficial start of camping season begins.

Peak1 is Coleman's collection of premium backpacking gear. This new mummy sleeping bag is temperature-rated down to 20 F and boasts a 650-fill power with RDS Certified Duck Down. The shell and liner fabrics are both ripstop nylons, it has a sleeping pad sleeve, and a DWR treatment,

To help trap heat, this sleeping bag uses the brand's Thermolock draft tube, a form-fitting hood, and a baffle at the neck.

A long version is also available.

This two-burner propane grill is designed to travel. It has collapsible steel legs and off-road wheels designed for easy packing and maneuverability, so you can set it up at the campsite and grill like you’re at home.

The iron grilling surface measures 285 square inches with a porcelain coating. There's a push-button ignition and dials to control your heat on each burner. At full blast, it produces 20,000 BTUs of grilling power. You can even swap one grill grate for a griddle or stove grate (sold separately).

Its travel-minded design also makes it compact enough to store in a shed or patio closet at home.

Here's an LED nod to Coleman's heritage as a lantern maker. On high, the lantern can shine 800 lumens in an 18m beam. It can also dim down to 300 lumens or 100 lumens for more modest tasks. Runtimes vary from 5 hours on high to 45 hours on low.

The Recharge stores its own recharge cord (USB to USB-C) in the base and it can charge other devices while it's running. The shell is water-resistant and it's drop resistant from a meter. It also has a traditional bail handle with a built-in carabiner for easy, secure hanging.

This is a bestseller and a 3-in-1 upgrade to the brand's regular two-burner Cascade model. The bells and whistles include removable cast-iron grill and griddle accessories to be able to cook a wider variety of dishes. It has a quick ignition knob as well as two adjustable burners for cooking different things at the same time.

Additionally, this model has a recessed carry handle, removable cast-iron pan support, and aluminized steel cooktop for quicker cleanup.

This backpack cooler can keep drinks cold for 24 hours and hold up to 30 cans. Of course, that's the max capacity, so you may want to even out that ice-to-drink ratio. The pack's molded base helps it sit on the ground and keep its shape.

Outside, the backpack has several four-way stretch pockets for carrying items you may want during a day trip or hike. An expanding zippered pocket on one side can secure your wallet, keys, and other essentials. On the other side, a stretch mesh pocket is sized to hold a water bottle. Lastly, the large back panel pocket can fit an extra layer or your favorite magazine.

Coleman claims that its Convoy Series Coolers are made for day trips, long-haul adventures, and everything in between. This 100-quart wheeled version is sized to hold food and drinks for the whole campsite or tailgate. It can hold 81 cans with 54 pounds of ice.

The cooler has a fully insulated lid and body and the brand's TempLock FX technology, which can hold ice for days. The lid's leakproof gasket can keep cold air from escaping.

This is an oversized cooler, but Coleman says it's twice as light as similar-sized rotomolded coolers. For transporting, the Convoy has a large metal handle and rugged wheels for hauling. Other notable features include stainless steel hardware, heavy-duty latches, and rope handles with grips.

This deck chair is a streamlined take on traditional outdoor furniture. It has a steel frame to support up to 250 pounds and a seat made from polyester to hold up for seasons of use.

It's at home in the backyard or the campsite, and can be packed up into its own carry bag when it's time to move on or store. There's even a cup holder to fit a Coleman tumbler.

This screened dome is designed for bug-free lounging. The Skyshade 10 x 10 fits over a picnic table so you can keep the flies and other pests off your food. There are two doors so you can come and go from either side.

Setting up consists of sliding fiberglass poles through sleeves on the dome's exterior and securing them into corner pockets.

A simple twist-cap valve allows air in from a corner to self-inflate the pad. The pad's bottom is PVC coated to resist abrasions, while the foam and 75-denier polyester offer a softer outer layer on top. The insulated foam offers warmth with an R-value of 5+.

It is sized to fit adults up to 5’11" and weighs less than 4 pounds. It rolls up with straps to hold it in place and make it easier to carry with you.

The Skydome tent is shaped to maximize headroom and storage space beneath its peak and under the full awning, aka the screen room. Pre-attached poles help Coleman claim a 5-minute setup time after the initial setup.

The weatherproof screen room means you can sit in your favorite chair under the awning to ride out a rain storm or rest in the shade. It allows you to get plenty of air and keep out bugs without hiding in your tent. At night, you can pull gear inside the screen room to protect it from the elements.

The tent's entry is an oversized main door for easier passage than traditional camping tents.

Should the weather turn blustery, Coleman's Weathertec System can resist rain and withstand winds up to 35 mph. The tent's tub-like floor, taped seams, and welded corners can all help keep water out.
