North Penn Now reported that a Lower Gwynedd homeowner recently locked herself in her second-floor bathroom after a Philadelphia man allegedly attempted to break into the home on June 1 around 8:00pm. Hykeem Wells, 40, of Philadelphia was arrested on Thursday night and has been charged with burglary, possessing an instrument of crime and criminal trespassing.
Multiple area police departments, including units from Lower Gwynedd, Upper Gwynedd, Upper Dublin, Whitpain Township, and Ambler Borough, were dispatched to the scene.
