CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Olivia Eustace scored a power-play goal at 2:35 of overtime to lift the Dalhousie Tigers to a 3-2 win over the UPEI Panthers in an Atlantic University Sport (AUS) women's hockey game at MacLauchlan Arena on Nov. 6.
Alix Yallowega and Abby Wamboldt also scored for the Tigers, who upped their record to 6-2-1-1 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses).
Orianna MacNeil (1-1) and Taylor Gillis countered for the Panthers (5-4-1-0), who dropped a 3-0 home-ice decision to the league-leading UNB Reds on Nov. 5.
McKinley Nelson and Stephanie Leger earned assists for UPEI.
The teams were tied 1-1 after the first period, and the Tigers took a 2-1 advantage into the second intermission.
Overall, the Tigers outshot the Panthers 31-27. Goaltenders were Grace Beer (Tigers) and Sarah Forsythe (Panthers).
